From C grade to B grade

1st the bed isn’t comfortable. 2nd the room is very cold. 3rd no hot water in the morning. This is the condition of a RMB120 room C Grade hotel -___-‘ . I was shaking while sleeping, Guo was wrapped up with 3 blankets . Every time I woke up, I just wish it’s already morning.

Both of us were hotel hunting in 1am. After asking a few hotels in the city, finally found one. We decided to move to another one due to desperation =p We ended up staying in a luxurious 4 star hotel cost RMB600.Don’t blame us~ after all what happened since we landed here, we deserve to enjoy this.

After a great morning shower, we went around the city from 12pm-3pm. I just realize the city isn’t that big. We pass by 2 Mosque, Muslim road, Flower Market, 2 crazy guy, new open shopping mall, Wangfujing(We’ve this also in Beijing) and Parkson. We had duck for lunch in one of the restaurant. I’m not a fan of Duck but it does taste good.

As soon as we arrived in our room, we went to sleep. It’s like heaven! The bed is so comfortable, the pillow is soft, thick blanket and a very nice weather. There is nothing more that I want other than a nice deep sleep.

We felt lazy to go out but since I was craving for Ice-cream, we went out again at 8pm to 10pm. Went to McDonald, Parkson to buy a pair of sock and to an open area opposite our hotel where there were a lot of performance. There were 4 cultural dance performances, singing, a dog showing off its skills and martial arts.

Tomorrow we are going to check out early because our flight to Laos is at 10am. Our breakfast will be at 7am, 7.30am to airport. I’ve a mix feeling now, I’m excited that finally I’m going to Laos(big possibility to Cambodia tiqah =p) and nervous to meet his parents. Huh~ maklum aku ani pemalu WAHAHA!

Day 1: Safely stranded in Kunming.

That was a very long journey, flying just inside China and took 3hrs plus with no movie on. I’m fine with it as long as I’ve my Ipod. The flight was ok, not shaky. The people here don’t speak Mandarin, I don’t know what type of Chinese. Both of us just blur and kept on guessing what the taxi was saying.

We arrived at the Flower Tea Hotel. A hotel recommended by Guo since he always transit here. I asked him whether he book any room, and surprisingly he didn’t!!! As expected, not even a room available. So we walked across the street to find another hotel, sadly no room. Finally we found one where I’m not that interested. By looking from the taxi I know that this is not IT. So I suggest to him that we moved out as soon as we wake up.

Now, at 1am plus, we haven’t sleep. At 1st I was so burnin but then after I looked at his status I’m not that burnin, just surprise that he don’t know that a room must be booked 1st. Maybe he is too depending on someone. That’s ok this is his ‘pengajaran’. He’s ‘hampa’ right now and ‘thought’ that I’m angry. Hahaha!

Im departing soon to the airport in one hour, hopefully, landing safely later at night. Going to spend around 2 days down south where there is no heater during winter, the indoors are colder and the weather is better. 2 guys are going to seek what is interesting down there. Hopefully we don’t get lost in Kunming Province. Luckily I bought “China Tour Guide book” back in Singapore last time.

Strolling around that big province for 2 days isn’t enough but Kunming is not our main destination for this holiday actually. On the 28th i’m going to place where people said “apa ada d sna atu?”. I’ll answer your question when im back or if ive time to blog/chat. Still I haven’t decide for how long I’ll be staying in Loas.

Loas, I told you that this is one of the country that I wanted to go…finally im going there. Sadly im not going to Vietnam or Combodia. Fortunately Thailand is in the list. =D ok readers. I’ve to pack the last bit of it and then im ready to set a journey!

I haven’t bought anything for my bday because the thing that I want can’t be bought by $$$$$. I’m still waiting for 2 more results, if most of my subjects pass I’ll be very very happy. But these friends bought something before I bought mine. Thanks to you for spending your money and your time for my 20th years. By looking at these, I really feel (and look) younger than 20. Terima kenyataan ah(pls~).

Assalamualaikum,

Exam was crazy. I think I’ve become one of them within the last 3 weeks: woke up early, ate breakfast, went out to the library or a suitable classroom, lunch, nap, study again, dinner, study and sleep. The sad life during exam. Did these for weeks and now I’m just enjoying my free time. The problem is, now in this dorm, I’m the only one who have finished exam. My classmates are busy going out especially the girls. They are nowhere to be found since last Saturday afternoon. So I’ve to think of something before my holiday is ruin by boredom.

I’m thinking of buying a lot of DVDs, going to my classmates dorm, to Uncle Roslan’s house, KTV, StarBucks, DQ, kebab, Zhongguancun, wudaokou, window shopping etc….see I’ve tons to do before 26th. Hehehe. And even more from the 26th onwards.

I’m kinda jealous knowing that most of the scholars are going back. A-fei-la I bet is currently enjoying the Pasar Malam. I want to go back too but if I’m going back every holiday then when can I have the time to explore the beauty of the world? I’m thinking of making my winter holiday as my Travel season. This year journey is so going to be awesome. Don’t worry Babu, for now, I’m not going to Korea without you. Hehehe. *wink*

unexpected weekend

life: busy. been calculating memorising and understanding.

hey im back..good things always followed by the bad ones. and the good things are so great untill i cant bear it all. as a result, sakit kepala. lps aku main badminton, i feel that this headache is getting heavier. so aku bwa melimpang lah skjp. when guo called me to eat dinner, seriously i cant get out of bed. barat bnr rasa nya. i took a few mins to just sit down. i dont know why, mayb psl weather...or mayb exam.

i cant wait for winter holiday. my classmates udah bali ticket balik and i can see their happy faces. and im gona travel down south for 3 weeks man! i hope this will become a great gateaway. but for sure im going to be here to celebrate my country's national day. the others, ada yg balik, khianat ah peelah~~ inda apa~ and ada yg travel antah k mna. hope u peeps enjoy ur holiday~

aku udah pilih my next sems subject. in total i've 6 subjects, no choice sal 1st year smua subject in the list atu compulsory. wait for nextyer!! sports and language!! atu target ku.

everybody in my class has their own new year resolution already, i havent write one but ada lah yg ku tepikir. its not that im not into new year its just there are so much things need to do. '20' ha..big impact on life.

for now i feel like its better to keep keep my life low. or mayb...gone from others thoughts.

1st time

alhamdulillah my new year celebrations are awesome. form stay up all night at the ktv, to celebrating dage's birthday the whole day, to Heavy snow in Beijing. again, this is the first heavy snow this year. eventhough the weather is freakin cold but that didnt stop us from modelling around campus. hehe.

new year is great but at the same time something 'weird' happening to me and this dorm. lets talk about the cleaners room. at night, if i cant sleep after 12am, i always go to the stairs next to that room. on the 2nd of jan, when the night is very quiet, suddenly ada bunyi radio bebuka very loud. aku relek sja sal i thought that sound dtg dr bilik si kambar. this also happened on the 3rd day. u know me, lw yg ganjil2 atu curious th ku. so aku dgr lah bisai2 dr mna bunyi radio atu, then i found out dr bilik tukang bersih. aku hairan and makin hairan yg pintu atu bekunci dr luar dh kai kunci mangga. so yesterday night aku bgto lah durg time kmi gather kn, durg mcm inda pecaya. then banar, d mlm after 12am bilik atu bebunyi lg, even my roomm8 tdgr. so dgn kejam nya aku msg cGuo yg busy di jamban mbuat business yg bilik atu bebunyi lg. as a results, ia bth atu ia slajur msuk bilik. mlm ani if bebunyi lg aku tarik durg suruh buka pintu atu and tutup radio. mna tau yg tukang bersih atu 'set' radionya tgh2 mlm. i know they hate me for telling them this =p

this week is revision week, and alhamdullillah ive done my thesis and reports today. aku spatutnya siapkn last last week but due to other stuffs paksa tangguh. now ive one research left to do due on the 16th.

all of us are busy lately, reading book, memorising line, understanding facts etc. ada yg sampai inda tantu mkn, inda cukup tdur, inda lg beusul apa just for the sake of exam. we have this habit msani - buat revision arah bilik urg. staying all day long in our own room make us feel dull.

kmi ada new internet system. kmi inda puas ati lah with this new system, its very cheap but ada limit. so i cant on9 24/7 and do anything i want. if i used up all the capacity then i cant go on9. so i planned to only check facebook, blogs and everything during weekend sja atu pun di internet cafe sal aku idna dpt buka blogspot, youtube or facebook via this system. i know, it sucks. but this system will me us internet less and study more.

a few simple words for u:

once we enter new year,we always look back on the previous to realise our mistakes and look back the great times and laugh. once we enter new year, we always want to become someone better for the sake of us and other people. once we enter new year, we want to walk straight and smoothly throughout the year. once we enter new year, we are lookin forward for the fun.

2009. im gona miss u. 2010. im gona make u an awesome year!

This week plan to revise isnt up to my satisfaction. there were a lot of things happening, a lot of works to finished up.

Me and dexter attended '表彰大会'. This event basically honoring great students in this Uni and giving scholarships to Chinese students. A few students gave some inspriring story if their life but one caught my attention.

10:30am went running around campus posting up New Year party posters organised by 3 departmens. Really lookin forward for this partey~

My last maths and management class..huhu!!! in maths class, kmi inda bljr~ kmi liat documentary pasal how will the world look like when no more human exist. very very interesting one sampai aku tetidur. hahaha!! awu aku tetdor skjp den kana kajuti leh kwn ku. in the afternoon, sama sja ada computer class. baruth kmi begagas kn mbuat report =p hahaha.

I'd planned my 31st and 1st with a lot of activities, so on these days i wasnt in the my room most of the time. My new year celebration was awesome and turned out very well eventho i had to attend Eco class last thursday night. luckily our lecturer let us go very very early.

at 8pm, the party started with great performances followed dancing on the floor. my classmate shocked me!! ada this one classmate, ia ani pendiam wa, aku suruh ia menari skali ia inda mau. karas lah urgnya. last2 mau jua tp mcm inda ikhlas..skali udah k dance floor, kmi tkjut mliat ia berabis2 menari. that night aku tarik pekerja kantin islam. durg mcm liat2 dr siring so aku tarik lah. melayan jua durg ani. the party end up at 10.50pm with committee cleaning up the canteen.

then at 11pm, 15 of us went to KTV. we were there sampai 6am =p honestly inda terasa and the price so murah, RMB30 sja. some of my classmates have a really2 good voice but sadly durg in exposekn sja.

1st Jan 10

aku sampai bilik 6.20am then tdo at 7 plus lah after mandi apa. atu nyaman tdo ku. at 10.30am kana banguni leh cguo sal dage kn lanja mkn buffet di 我行我蔬. today dage punya bday iath ia lanja mkn =D then ptg as usual bljr lah sampai tertdo di katil. again aku kana banguni lg an hr lps tu sal kn jln. last night kmi ada new year+bday gathering. ruginya d mlm atu aku kanyang hantap, so mkn ku sikit sja. aku sma guo awal balik sal kn revision while the rest lepak2 lagi somewhere around campus.

aku karipap, kadikau dumpling ok?

I had a great time dumpling Dumplings. there were 3 classes,divided into 7 groups, involved in this competition. my group came 2nd~~ with a few karipap on the tray. hahahaha!! kerinduan karipap bh eyh. my performance was...cali. a sad song that became a laughable one. alom sampai seminit ku menghayati muncul taya apple yg kana cucuk pakai 3 batang chopstick. pacah!!!! then kana bg dumplings yg kana cucuk ky chopstick and at the end ada buah apple basar. pacah wah durh ah. sampai lgu pun aku inda kedangaran.

den spontaniously aku kana suruh main game ani which was mbg makan apple. in this game 2 urg, satu girl satu boy,so main suap2 lah. classmate ku ani aku remind dh wa b4 start "请用爱给我吃". alom bth asaknya wah apple ah rah mulut kut. pisan...apple yg ku mkn atu lg dlm nya_______(extra vits).

overall i had so much fun..main2 tapung..pacah2 bilun2..lusir2 ke mija urg mkn dumplings~..mengayao mencuri dumpling urg sal kelawahan. karipap ku kana curi leh c monitor!!!! inda adil~~ tak pe a great night~

"eh..你是谁啊(who r u?)？？" tanya ku lg. cguo ani ktwa2 dh sblh ku.
"你呢？(kau siapa?)" aku plg kana balik. patutnya aku yg tanya.

"saya kamu punya colleage. kamu tidak ingat?"

sejak bila ku ada kwn urg brunei yg ckp malaysia???honestly sound urg malaysia bh. so aku teringt lah yg d shanghai ani yg melayu brunei nya ku dgr makin ilang.

"owh yg d shanghai ani kh???sorry2 aku inda save number mu...." rasa guilty jua ku tu.

At 11.50am i had a group photo session outside in the windy day with the other Int' Stu' who took part in volunteering to help the teachers last sept. and fot this activity, i skipped a week of class. my teacher gave us a big surprise when she asked us to go to the office. receiving a cert is normal in BNU but receiving RMB500 is...wwwoooaatt!! hahahaha! i havnt spend all my money this month, i think im starting to save money now. some of them received 3-4 certs *jeles* inda apa rmb500 ada.

Tuesday,22.12.09

Winter festival everyone!!! me, my roommates, guo, dage and afei went to eat dumpling at the taiping dumpling restaurant. dumpling is usually eat by the north area. if im not mistaken, its like to prevent your ear from freezing. while at the south part of china, for eg sichuan, durg mkn 羊肉串(its like satay).

at 5.50pm i had a meeting at my friend's dorm. the senior who instruct us reminded me of someone, the way she talked and react. our task for that night was we must finish 70 posters. at first i thought it was a big amount but then inda sadar siap jua. we ended at 10pm.

in the middle of meluahkn creativity yg terpendam, i was called to go to the art building to see some dance. *hehehehe* this dance is for next thurday party. durg practice lagu 'sorry2' and they had 2 days to practice.

wednesday,23.12.09

changes is not a good thing. me and my classmates were happy with the exam system but then my teacher changed it last min. seriously, its not cool! and sudahth system tukar, ia bg kmi 3 homeworks: analyse a management book and write your opinion(1500 words), analyse management problem(1500 words) and thesis(2500 words). great teacher~ thnx for the hw when exam is like a couple of weeks away.

again kana tukar exam economics. *sign* kmi seclass seriously inda tau apa kn d bca for management and economics. management ok lah sal its more to our way of thinking. but economics??????!! total 18 chapters ah ia ajar. kapisan. even my classmates pun worry. skali kmi kana reward, awal abis class~~ hahahaha.

ok let me tell u something, last monday during our study group session, my friend approach me and say

"ko pilih lagu ah and perform nanti."
and i was like "owwwhhh lagu apa?"
"lagu melayu..practice sja." i thought it was like our class punya activity sal she was telling everyone so i assume dorg smua nyanyi.

but then she asked me to go to the audition after economics class. gila she left me speechless! aku inda ready apa2. since senior knl aku, inda kn ku tarik diri kali. so yea aku dgn nervousnya audition. and the craziest part was when one of them introduced me to the whole senior in that room that im from Brunei with the name 'wuchun' before that. all the girls went crazeeh!!! =p

that night jua i received a gift from the little guy name 宋方杰. do u remember him from my last post??ia bg surat and a small gift. and he wants me to visit their school. nanti2 th ku k sna.

aku ngantuk during maths class. do u know why?sal 12am was 平安夜节。aku received a lot of msg from 12a onwards. atu ok la sal aku alom tdor, but even time aku tdor, the msgs keep on coming. aku tebangun sja that night. then during maths class, aku tanya durg.

classmate 1:
"pkl brpa ko tdo klamarin?" (aku)
"klamarin mlm aku inda tdor, td pagi baru ku tdor." gila BELURUS!!
＂psl?"

the same reason. ia ckp msg keep on coming and after 1am so ia switched off mobile nya.

classmate 2(dxtr):
"pkl brpa ko tdo d mlm?"
"pkl 12am atu tdor plg tp tebangun sja sal msg."

hahaha wrong timing wah ia kn tdor ah. hahahaha.

平安夜 is just for 1 hour from 12am to 1am. after 1am is christmas here. yatah msgs masuk even after 1am. kapisan kn.

then yesterday mlm my monitor bgto i'm in to perform nextweek party that is organised by 3 departments. *pingsan*

minggu ku tersibuk so far

My works are keep on piling since monday. even with timetable i still cant make enough time to do this and that. this is life people. i can feel it! hahaha!!! there is nothing big happening from monday to friday. let me tell u something, my days are getting duller and duller when books are my 247 BFF and wind is my worse enemy untill the end of this semester. *sign* but hey, the more i read the more interesting the books get especially my Management textbook.

last friday i cut my hair after 3 months. seriously that pony tail needs to go. i like the finished product. i dont mind if u dont like. u'll know why when rambut ku panjang balik

yesterday was a very very tiring day. i went to my friend's dorm at 9.30am to do 'Cordoid Application'. we have to search for more sal the words masih inda cukup. but no worries, ada masa lg. then in the afternoon i took a break by watching a movie by Sandra Bullock after masak daging kari! suksess yo!!! ahahahaha gila padas!!　and the movie was great! then at 2pm i went to my friend's dorm again to do my Maths and revision. i was there sampai 9pm. aku sampai tetidur wah d bilik durg. then at 9pm kmi ada meeting.

the meeting was pasal today's event. i signed up to be a volunteer to take care of a student for a day. These students are those with parents who have financial problem. Our tasks were easy: talk with them, take them around uni, eat lunch together and have fun. I was paired up with this 11 years old kid from Henan. He‘s not shy but not naughty. He's clever but not a nerd. he's tall but not taller than me. His name is 宋方杰 .

taking part in this event made my day really really happy. This kid has changed the way i think a little bit. wish him good luck!!!
